Hannah Diamond, Attorney & Mediator
Hannah Diamond is an attorney and transformative mediator. Hannah believes that while conflict can be destabilizing and difficult, every person has the inherent ability and interest to work toward resolving that conflict and regaining stability. Her job is to provide a supportive space that allows you to understand yourself and the person you’re in conflict with better. With this, you can become empowered to resolve your conflict in a long-term meaningful way. Hannah provides virtual mediation services via a variety of platforms.
Hannah came to mediation from litigation, where she repeatedly saw how the parties were affected by the court system, and ended up worse off and more disempowered than when they started. However, as an attorney, she understands the court system and the paths a dispute might take. Hannah also sits on the ADR subcommittee of the NYC Bar Association.
Hannah is trained in facilitative and transformative mediation, as well as divorce and family mediation. She is a volunteer mediator for Small Claims Court and Community Mediation Services, and is also trained in restorative justice and believe that mediation can be a healing environment. Additionally, Hannah teaches mediation at Hofstra University.
