Nicole Hull

The Hull Firm

Nicole Hull

Attorney Nicole Hull has a wide range of experience representing and litigating on behalf of families in domestic, special education, probate, and child abuse & neglect cases.  Ms. Hull graduated cum laude from Mercer University with a dual degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice, and also the Walter F. George School of Law.

Prior to opening The Hull Firm LLC in 2014, Nicole garnered a broad range of child and family advocacy experience while clerking for the University of Georgia’s Carl Vinson Institute of Government where her research and policy analysis reports were later used in the revisions for the Georgia Juvenile Code.  She then further enhanced those skills while serving as a fellow for the Emory University School of Law Summer Child Advocacy Program and clerking for both the Honorable John Beam, Jr. in Chatham County, and the Honorable Robin Shearer in Athens-Clarke County.

In addition to having extensive litigation experience, Nicole has a broad range of experience working in the alternative dispute resolution field.  Because of her vast experience, she was appointed by the Georgia Supreme Court to serve on the Commission on Dispute Resolution to oversee the development of court-connected ADR programs in Georgia. Nicole currently serves on the Commission on Dispute Resolution’s Training and Credentialing Committee as the Co-Chair, and the Probate Court Sub-Committee, and previously served on the Commission on Dispute Resolution’s Juvenile Court Sub-Committee.

Because of her expertise in dispute resolution and her litigation experience, Nicole is frequently retained by the Georgia Department of Education to facilitate contentious Individualized Education Plan meetings between families and school districts, the Department of Human Services to mediate disputes between families and the providers for federal assistance programs, and several juvenile courts to mediate both delinquency and dependency cases.

Nicole serves on the Clarke County School District’s Board of Education, and is an adjunct professor for the Walter F. George School of Law and Brenau University.
