Practice Area:Child Custody & Visitation, Divorce, Employment, Family, Workplace
James Becker, Jr. has been practicing law since 1994. He opened his own practice on Labor Day, 2006 for the purpose of helping resolve problems that can hamper both their businesses and their lives.
While he initially made the conscious decision to limit my practice to employment law matters, he has subsequently become involved in helping his wife and law partner with her family law cases. His almost 30 years of experience have taught him that in order to be able to provide the best of representation, it is invaluable to be balanced. This has helped him immensely with his work as a mediator. His experience in talking with people of all walks of life has enabled him to help people solve problems that seemed insurmountable.
James holds a Rule 31 mediator certification in Tennessee and has handled all aspects of both employment and family law matters. As part of his work, he’s handled cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, Fifth and Sixth Circuit Courts of Appeal, federal courts in West and Middle Tennessee, Arkansas and North Mississippi, as well as state courts throughout west Tennessee.
