Joel Shugarman

Joel J. Shugarman has more than 30 years of litigation experience in both civil and appellate trials in the State and Federal Courts.  Joel concentrates his litigation practice in the area of serious personal injury matters and mediates matters related to:

• Negligence
• Construction
• Worker’s Compensation

Joel is a graduate of the University of Maryland and University of Baltimore Law School.  He has served as past president of the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association and has lectured as an invited speaker for the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Maryland Institute for Continuing Education.
