About Us

Mediate Lawsuit is More Than Just an ADR Directory!

The Beginning

In 2021, this platform launched as a passion project under the brand Lawsuit.com. At the time, our team had already spent a decade partnering with mediators as their digital marketing ally, deeply invested in promoting a culture of conflict resolution.

As the platform grew, solicitors and advisors suggested leveraging the domain for traditional legal purposes such as class-action or personal injury lead generation. But as advocates of mediation ourselves, we recognized a greater opportunity.

Rather than fueling litigation, we chose to reimagine what a “lawsuit” could mean. This platform was then rebranded as Mediate Lawsuit, designed to guide individuals and businesses toward resolution rather than escalation.

Early Years

When our team first entered the ADR sector in 2012, mediation was experiencing uneven growth across states. Local regulations, differing levels of court acceptance, and varying degrees of public awareness created a patchwork of progress—some regions embraced mediation, while others lagged behind.

Covid Impact

Everything changed when COVID-19 forced widespread court closures. Cases stalled, backlogs grew, and timelines for resolution became unimaginable. In that moment, mediation moved into the spotlight—emerging not just as an alternative, but as a necessary and practical path forward.

This surge accelerated acceptance of mediation outside the courtroom, highlighting its value at a time when courts simply could not deliver timely resolutions.

Why Attorneys and Courts Turn to Mediation?

At the case level, mediation is often:

  • Court-driven as a mandate to help clear backlogged dockets.
  • Attorney-driven as advocates suggest mediation for the benefit of their clients.

The benefits are clear:

  • Preserving relationships and co-existence during and after dispute resolution.
  • Saving businesses and individuals from the costs of prolonged litigation.
  • Minimizing the emotional toll of drawn-out courtroom battles.

A Changing Landscape

As ADR evolved, both seasoned neutrals and new practitioners needed more guidance, support, and visibility to grow their practices. At the same time, disputants and their advocates sought reliable ways to connect with qualified professionals.
