Throughout that time, Gary has represented both men and women in simple and complicated divorces. Gary has 45 years of trial and negotiating experience handling all aspects of New Jersey family law cases including:

Having been trained in mediation at Harvard Law School, and recognizing that contentious, litigated divorces often cause more harm than good, and benefit no one. Gary has been approved under New Jersey Court Rule 1:40 as a Post-ESP Economic Mediator in the State of New Jersey.

Gary also has been trained in and, is a founding member of South Jersey Collaborative Divorce Professionals (BetterWayDivorce.com), a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, and practices and is committed to Collaborative Divorce in appropriate cases. This is a more civil, less expensive, quicker, confidential, and better way to resolve legal issues between divorcing spouses. Resolution is accomplished by the spouses reaching an agreement through a series of meetings with both the parties and their attorneys present, often with a divorce coach from the mental health field to assist in overcoming emotional barriers to settlement, with all working collaboratively to reach a mutually agreeable and beneficial settlement achieving the most important goals of each spouse.
