Resolution is accomplished by the spouses reaching an agreement through a series of meetings with both the parties and their attorneys present, often with a divorce coach from the mental health field to assist in overcoming emotional barriers to settlement, with all working collaboratively to reach a mutually agreeable and beneficial settlement achieving the most important goals of each spouse.
