John Pappalardo

John A. Pappalardo is a Partner in The Pappalardo Law Group PLLC, with offices in White Plains, New York. The firm is involved in matrimonial and commercial litigation, arbitration and mediation. The White Plains office consists of one (1) Partner, three (3) Associates, three (3) Of Counsel attorneys, Law Clerks, Paralegals and an administrative staff. Mr. Pappalardo has been an active Litigator, Arbitrator, and Mediator for 37 years. He supervises an 8-member matrimonial department. 

Mr. Pappalardo’s matrimonial practice handles moderate to very complex litigation involving matrimonial and family law cases. He also has a private matrimonial mediation practice, is certified in matrimonial collaborative law, sits as a matrimonial arbitrator, and was New York State Certified as an attorney representing children. Mr. Pappalardo served as a Guardian Ad Litem in Litigation proceedings for 35 years.

Mr. Pappalardo is admitted to the State and Federal Bar in New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. He is also a member of the Bar for the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Pappalardo, is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, Westchester Bar Association and their Family Law and Alternative Dispute Resolutions subsections. He is a referral attorney for the State Department for Missing and Exploited Children, representing parents who have had their children abducted. John is currently an Officer of the Westchester County Bar Association and is a former member of the Executive Committee of the Westchester County Bar Family Law Section and the International Association of Matrimonial Lawyers and the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

Mr. Pappalardo is heavily involved in arbitration and mediation, and is on the AAA, CPR, FINRA, NAM, Second Department Special Masters, Arbitration Ireland Association, and Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Bronx, Rockland Orange, and NYC ADR neutral panels. He has taught Arbitration and Mediation programs for the AAA and has spoken in the field on behalf of the Westchester County Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and National Business Institute.
