Richard Trapp Mediations
Richard Trapp practiced law for years with an insurance defense firm and later opened his own firm, handling plaintiff cases in the fields of personal injury and commercial litigation. He’s also handled well over 500 family cases. Richard is a Supreme Court certified circuit court mediator and now mediates full-time throughout the state of Florida, as he is no longer a member of the Florida Bar.
Since November of 2013, Richard has been a full-time mediator, specializing in personal injury, medical malpractice, family, commercial and homeowner association matters. Mediation is his passion, as he believes that mediating will accomplish many positive outcomes, including the parties having a greater understanding of the adversities of litigating their case and the cost of time and money associated with that litigation.
Richard holds a B.A. in business administration from the University of Florida. He received his Juris Doctorate in 1974 from the University of Florida while he was playing football in the NFL.
Richard never charges for travel time and includes on his page under “Attorney References” a list of many attorneys he’s mediated for.
