Alan M. Dubow has been practicing law in New York since 1981. He was admitted to practice law in the State of New York, the Southern and Eastern District Courts of New York and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Alan has focused his career as a Litigator in the practice areas of Matrimonial Law, Domestic Relations, Family Law, Complex Commercial and Real Estate litigation matters as well as transactional Business Law for over forty years. Alan has appeared extensively and conducted trials in the Supreme Courts located in Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Orange and Rockland Counties as well as the Supreme Courts in all boroughs of New York City.

In recent years, Alan has developed a specialty in Matrimonial Law as a trained Collaborative Attorney and Mediator. These areas have allowed Alan to offer clients an alternative to litigating matrimonial matters in court, thereby empowering clients to control the manner in which they resolve their domestic disputes by working together as a team. As a member of IACP and NYACP listed below, and an active member of the NYACP Education Committee,  Alan has begun to place the collaborative and mediation processes at the forefront of his law practice.

Alan is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Westchester County Bar Association, International Association of Collaborative Professionals and the New York Association of Collaborative Professionals. Alan graduated from the New York State University at Binghamton in 1977 and from Brooklyn Law School in 1980.
