Anne Marie O’Brien is a partner of Lamson Dugan & Murray and a member of the Firm’s litigation department. Anne’s practice involves a multitude of disciplines in both tort and commercial practice areas. She has extensive experience in toxic tort, personal injury, and discrimination/sex abuse/ harassment law and litigation. She also has experience in transportation, products liability, insurance/subrogation/fire, commercial tort and business litigation, and contract and lease drafting and negotiation.

Anne Marie is an author of the Firm’s Transportation Law Guide and co-author of the Nebraska Chapter in the Products Liability Desk Reference: A Fifty State Compendium published by Wolters Kluwer.  She frequently teaches and advises other lawyers and industries on all aspects of litigation, toxic tort law, transportation law, and insurance/subrogation/fire issues at their seminars and meetings. She taught at a national Trial College for the past decade, training young lawyers in the arts of litigation.

Anne Marie is routinely recognized by her peers as a leader in the field of law. She was elected to the Presidency of the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel (NARTC) in 2022 and served as past President of the Omaha Bar Association. She was elected by her peers to serve on the Nebraska State Bar Association House of Delegates and elected a permanent Fellow of the Nebraska State Bar Foundation in 2020. Anne Marie  is routinely selected as a Super Lawyer in the field of Transportation and Maritime Law and as a Best Lawyer – Women in Law and is also named as Best Lawyer, Nebraska; and selected by her peers as a Best Lawyer in Omaha and recognized in Omaha Magazine.
