David Salvaggio

David Salvaggio is Senior Counsel at Lyons & Associates, P.C., a premier group of New Jersey attorneys with three separate offices located in Morristown, Somerville, and Freehold for the convenience of its clients.

Mr. Salvaggio has over 40 years of experience.  He has been instrumental in developing alternatives to traditional litigation as a means of resolving legal disputes in New Jersey Divorce and Family Law matters.

Through Divorce Mediation, Mr. Salvaggio helps divorcing couples determine their own destiny, rather than suffer the trauma and expense of seemingly endless litigation. He has handled thousands of cases in his career, including difficult divorces involving high-net-worth individuals, protracted custody disputes, complicated equitable distribution issues, and very contentious domestic violence cases.

Mr. Salvaggio was also among the first group of attorneys to receive specialized training in Collaborative divorce practice, which emphasizes communication and cooperation, rather than conflict, and has as its goal a resolution of all issues which best meets each party’s individual needs as well as the needs of their children, without the intervention of the court system.

Mr. Salvaggio’s paramount goal is to help his clients get through the divorce process without destroying their families or exhausting their money, so that they can move on as easily and quickly as possible with the next chapter of their lives.
