As a Collaborative Law specialist, Devlinunderstands the support of a legal team to settle your case is efficient, effective and creative, and is Devlin’s favorite way to help families divorce fairly, especially in cases involving complicated parenting or financial issues.  Devlin is a leader in the Collaborative Law community and is currently the President of the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council (MCLC).

Devlin also uses mediation to avoid the stress, cost and risk of a public court trial.  He is a court appointed meditator at Hampshire, Hampden and Franklin County Probate and Family Courts, has extensive training and experience, and now trains and mentors mediators.

Devlin also offers Family Resolutions Specialty Court (FRSC) Representation and Coaching. FRSC is a team based support and mediation court for families who benefit from the structure of a court based process. It’s the future of family law and a process Devlin is very involved with as a lawyer, mediator and team coordinator.

Devlin was trained in British Columbia, Canada as a Collaborative Lawyer more than TWENTY years ago. There he served on the Victoria Separation Professionals Board as Chair of Training. Today he teaches mediation at Western New England School of Law.
