In 2011, Edie Picket saw a growing opportunity to be of service to other attorneys in the industry and opened her own firm. Edie appears at hearings, holds foreclosure sales and does other legal and consulting work on a contract basis. During her 25+ year legal career in the default servicing industry, she handled thousands of foreclosures, evictions, and loan workouts, in addition to representing lenders in bankruptcy court.
Since 1992, Edie practiced extensively in the areas of creditor’s bankruptcy law, real estate law, commercial litigation, collections and general civil litigation. She continues to practice in both State and Federal Courts throughout the State of Alabama.
Edie is available to fill in for attorneys who are otherwise not available due to extended leave or vacations, work as a consultant on complicated/time consuming cases, draft documents/pleadings, review documents and/or appear at hearings in Jefferson County/surrounding areas.
Additionally, Edie is on the mediation roster for the Alabama Center for Dispute Resolution
