As a former Justice for the 13th Court of Appeals for eight years, Greg Perkes has heard and rendered legal opinions on hundreds of cases involving litigants from 20 different counties in Texas. Greg Perkes’ certification in Mediation, and 20 plus years of appellate and trial experience, along with his judicial service, gives him a unique perspective and advantage in dispute resolution involving many areas of litigation, as well as commercial, construction, contract, estate and family law.

Greg is licensed to practice in the State of Texas and before the United States District Courts for the Southern District of Texas, the United States Courts of Appeal for the Fifth Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States of America. He has held memberships in the State Bar of Texas, including the Judicial and Civil Appellate Law sections, the American Bar Association, the Bar Association for the Fifth Federal Circuit, and the Hidalgo, Cameron, and Corpus Christi Bar Associations.

He has served on the State Bar of Texas Judicial Section’s Legislative Committee, the Texas Center for Judiciary’s Board of Directors and Appellate Education Fund Committee, the Texas Board of Legal Specialization’s Civil Appellate Law Advisory Commission, and the Corpus Christi, Hidalgo and Cameron County Bar Associations’ Boards of Directors.
