Hon. Billie Colombaro (Ret.), a former Court of Appeals Judge, has more than 40 years’ experience in the legal field and is a full-time practicing Arbitrator and Mediator, working primarily with the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR) and the American Arbitration Association (AAA) since 2006.  She is a member of the prestigious organization – The National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals – whose membership is by invitation only for “professional mediators and arbitrators who are well established as trusted neutrals” and who “have been found to meet stringent practice criteria and are amongst the most in-demand neutrals.”

The AAA has designated Judge Colombaro as a Special Master, and she serves on the Judicial Settlement Conference, as well as the following Panels, which she has chaired:

She created a course, rooted in science, called “The Power of Presence,” which she has taught to Harvard Law Students and lawyers / arbitrators worldwide, as well as to Fortune 500 executives.  The course gives attorneys advantages in persuading arbitrators or juries and provides business executives with similar techniques in achieving their objectives in the Boardroom.
