Jay Lazrus

Jay is an experienced attorney/mediator who has spent over almost 20 years mediating disputes.  He brings his considerable business and legal knowledge to bear in mediating business, personal and consumer disputes.  Using the Zoom platform, Jay is able to mediate anywhere in the country.

In addition to basic mediation and arbitration training, Jay has also received advanced training in mediating complex cases and mediating parenting plans (support, custody and visitation).  To continue offering quality mediation services during the Pandemic, Jay took training to become adept at conducting mediations and arbitrations using Zoom.

Jay holds a law degree from the University of Maryland, and an L.L.M. in taxation with honors from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C.

Jay belongs to the Maryland Program for Mediator Excellence and adheres to their standards in conducting mediations.  Currently he serves as a mediator/arbitrator for the following organizations, as well as conducting private mediations and arbitrations:
