Mediator's Profile

Carolyn-Rosenblatt

Carolyn Rosenblatt

Business Name: Aging Parent

Ms. Carolyn Rosenblatt’s career began as a Registered Nurse with ten years of experience, and responsibility for over 10,000 patients. She also has twenty-seven years of experience as an attorney, representing injured persons in litigation, arbitrations, mediations and trials.  Carolyn became a mediator after seeing a lack of certain expertise and communication skills in mediators she had employed.  Her areas of expertise as a mediator include:

  •     Personal injury
  •     Elder abuse and neglect
  •     Nursing home, assisted living and home care agency disputes
  •     Medical negligence
  •     Parent teacher school conflicts
  •     Real estate disputes

Becoming a mediator was a choice Carolyn made from years of experience seeing how successful mediation could be. Carolyn knew she wanted to be the best kind of mediator for her clients and chose to focus her attention on elder-related disputes, where there wasn’t a great deal of attention being given by other mediators.

Carolyn’s nursing background helped her determine that she would best be able to serve individuals with a broad variety of injuries, those interacting with the healthcare system and those with unusual additional pre-existing problems in combination with injuries.

Carolyn also works in a unique way with a licensed psychologist as a co-mediator, who has insight and communication skills that help with family conflicts and getting to the root of a dispute. He is her business partner and husband of 40 years. Together, they settle matters with their rare combination of skills.

She’s also a senior triathlete and passionate about promoting healthy aging!
