Louis founded Metropolitan Properties of Chicago LLC in 1991, a commercial real estate development firm and has led negotiations for: • Acquisition Agreements • Loan Documents • Land Use • Partnership Agreements • Construction Contracts and Leases Throughout his career, Louis confronted complex challenges with creative solutions and earned a reputation of solving complex legal and financial challenges. Due to his legal training and extensive business experience, Louis is well positioned as an effective and fair mediator. As a mediator, Louis implements a thoughtful blend of facilitative with some evaluative methods. He is open minded, patient and an effective listener, which creates an environment conducive to earnest settlement resolutions. Besides serving private parties, advocates and court appointed matters, Louis provides pro bono mediation for small claims cases referred by the Illinois courts as a way of giving back to those in need.
