He has more than 35 years of litigation experience and has served as a mediator since 2011. In 2012, he founded Alimonti Mediation Services, where his work includes aviation claims, insurance coverage, product liability, personal injury, employment, and commercial disputes. Mr. Alimonti has been a member of the Mediation Panel for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York since 2011 and was an inaugural member of the court's Mediation Advisory Committee. He was inducted into the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals in 2024 and has served in leadership roles with the American Bar Association's Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section Dispute Resolution Committee. His mediation process combines facilitative communication with evaluative analysis when appropriate, supported by advance review of party submissions and pre-mediation conferences.
