Guardianship Mediation
Guardianship is a legal arrangement in which a court appoints a person (the guardian) to make decisions for another individual (the ward) who is unable to care for themselves due to age, disability, or incapacity. Guardians may be responsible for the ward’s personal, medical, or financial matters, depending on the scope of the guardianship. It often applies to minors without parents or adults with cognitive impairments. Courts ensure guardians act in the ward's best interests.
