Charles is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and received his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in 1980. For ten years post-graduation, Charles worked for the firm of Michaels Seeger Rosenbald and Arnold, Attorneys, Rochester, Minnesota (now Dunlap & Seeger), and has since been a solo practitioner.

In 1980 he was admitted to the Minnesota Bar and in 1990, he was admitted to the Indiana Bar, and currently he is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil, Family Law Mediator and Dependency Mediator.

His practice focused on both corporate & securities law and commercial real estate finance, and has more than 40 years business and legal experience, including:

• Public company experience
• Investment banking

Charles also performed the duties of public company General Counsel, operations executive, and Board Member. He has complete deal making experience including:
• Public offerings
• Private placement
• M&A transactions
• Private Equity Funds
• Commercial real estate development & finance
