Craig J. Cannon attended Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia where he graduated cum laude in 1984 with a B.S. degree in Geology. After working as a tennis professional for several years, Craig attended law school at the University of Florida College of Law where he graduated in 1991.
Since graduating from law school, Craig has been working as a trial attorney in Ocala, where he began his practice as an insurance company lawyer. In February 2000 he shifted his focus to personal injury law and his practice is now dedicated to civil litigation. Most of the clients of The Cannon Law Firm are people affected by car accidents; other accidents; wrongful death; and products liability. As a former insurance company lawyer, Craig understands how insurance companies evaluate personal injury cases.
In 2021, Craig became certified as a mediator in Florida and formed Cannon Mediations, where he offers concerned, cost-effective, impartial ways of overcoming obstacles at any stage of conflict. Cannon Mediations hosts mediations locally in Ocala and provides mediations services throughout the state of Florida via video conferencing.
