Jessica S. Lacy founded the Indianapolis law firm, Lacy Law Office in March 2008. Jessica’s practice focuses on the areas of family law (divorce, custody, paternity, child support, mediation), probate law (estates, adoptions, guardianships), and civil litigation. She earned her undergraduate degree in English and Secondary Education from Hanover College in 1997 and earned her law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2000. During law school, Jessica clerked for the South Carolina Department of Revenue and for the South Carolina Department of Education.
Jessica completed the Family Law Mediation Certification course, Parenting Coordination training, and Family Law Arbitration training. In addition to her regular practice, she offers mediation, arbitration, parenting coordination, and private guardian ad litem services, and is a registered domestic relations mediator.
In 2018, Jessica opened the Lacy Law Office Mediation Center, and spearheaded the Hancock County Mediation Days pro bono mediation program to offer free mediation services to Hancock County residents going through contested family law cases.
Super Lawyers identified Jessica as a Rising Star in 2010 and 2011, and was selected to Super Lawyers for 2020 and 2021. In addition, she is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, and the Hancock County Bar Association.
