Mediation Approach
Kim believes successful mediation requires more than legal knowledge—it requires listening carefully, understanding the interests behind each party's position, and creating an environment where productive negotiations can occur. Clients have described Kim as patient, compassionate and honest in guiding individuals toward a workable solution.
Her calm, approachable style helps parties communicate more effectively while evaluating practical solutions that address both legal and personal concerns. Attorneys appreciate her insightful and pragmatic approach, while self-represented individuals value her ability to explain the mediation process clearly and maintain a balanced, respectful environment.
Kim regularly mediates matters involving either parties who are represented by legal counsel and people who are representing themselves. She is especially skilled in relationship-based disputes involving families, neighbors, business partners, and community organizations.
