Don Saunders is a Florida court certified mediator and parenting coordinator with more than four decades of entrepreneurial and business experience. He mediates both family and civil disputes, helping individuals, families, and businesses resolve complex conflicts efficiently and constructively. Don's career began in corporate banking, where he served for 14 years as Vice President of Consumer Lending at Dominion Bankshares Corporation — then the fifth largest bank in Virginia. In 1994, he transitioned into entrepreneurship, founding Saunders Landscape Supply in Chantilly, Virginia. Under his leadership, the company grew into a multi-million-dollar enterprise, which he successfully sold in 2022. He subsequently launched Port to Port Yacht Transport, a business based in Annapolis, Maryland, providing yacht transportation services by both land and sea. This wide-ranging business experience has given Don deep expertise in financial negotiation, organizational dynamics, and practical problem-solving — all of which he brings to his mediation practice. As founder of Saunders Mediation Services, LLC, Don specializes in helping individuals and organizations resolve disputes without resorting to costly litigation. His approach is grounded in collaboration, respect, and empathy, with a strong focus on preserving relationships and minimizing stress. He has successfully guided hundreds of families and businesses toward mutually agreeable solutions. Don is based in Annapolis, Maryland, and also holds Florida court accreditation, making him available for multi-state matters where one or more parties are in Florida.
