Peter M. Farren is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family, Circuit Civil, and County Mediator with more than 25 years of legal experience. His family-mediation work includes child custody and visitation, parenting disputes, divorce-related parenting matters, and other family conflicts. Based in the Tampa–St. Petersburg area, he provides in-person and virtual mediations for families throughout Florida. Mr. Farren’s background in civil and family law informs a structured, neutral process that gives each participant an opportunity to be heard, assess practical options, and work toward durable agreements. He describes preparation, respectful communication, balanced participation, and careful consideration of legal and financial issues as central to effective mediation. A graduate of Stetson University College of Law, cum laude, and the University of Massachusetts, Boston, magna cum laude, he is admitted to practice in Florida and Massachusetts and before the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida. Before entering the legal profession, he served in the United States Marine Corps for six years.
